Ballard Protege Basketball

Conway has been playing basketball with Ballard Protege this fall and here's the scrappy sixth grade team at a recent game. 

Happy Halloween!

No pics of the three boys together this year unfortunately, as they all went off trick-or-treating with their own friends. Conway was a guy with a light-up mask that matched his friends (Conway is the one with the red and blue x's for eyes), Monroe was a scarecrow with a scary jack-o-lantern head, and Parker was a Chicago Bears football player. It was a wet night, but that didn't slow the kids down. They were still determined to collect their weight in candy - mission accomplished!

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I thought we had maybe aged out of trips to the pumpkin patch, but the boys asked if we could go this year...so we did! We went back to Novelty Hill Farms (not to be confused with the winery) and had fun picking out pumpkins, running through the corn maze, climbing on farm equipment, and drinking hot chocolate.

A Family Golf Outing

For our anniversary this year, David gave me my own set of golf clubs, and this was their first appearance on the course. The five of us golfed together for about six holes before we called it a day. It was a good first run for me and hopefully I can figure out how to properly swing the clubs at some point. Drinks on the patio afterwards were pretty nice too.

First Day of School

First day of fourth, sixth, and ninth grade! Parker started high school, Conway started middle school, and Monroe feels like the big man on campus at Coe as the only Totten left there. And even though they were off to three different schools, they still got to have first day of school ice cream together after returning home.

Reviews from the boys about the actual camp were mixed at best, but the Seattle Storm practice facility is awesome.

Oregon Super Cup Champions!

Monroe's soccer team, Seattle United B16 Copa, won the Oregon Super Cup! They've been the runner up a few other times, but this was the first time they've been champions in a tournament. As you can imagine, they were thrilled!

13th Annual Family Beach Trip: Ocean Shores

We mixed things up this year and took our annual family beach trip to Ocean Shores, WA! A new location, but not all that different. We were right on the beach, which was awesome and meant multiple trips to the beach each day. The house was further from town, but a very flat bike ride away. There was still lots of ice cream, waves to jump in, holes to dig, sports on the beach, and even tide pools. And the dogs got to come! Another successful #cousinland adventure.
