Camas Trip Part 2: Cousin Samantha's 3rd Birthday Party

The real reason for this trip to Camas was for Cousin Samantha's 3rd birthday party. It's true! Our little Samantha is already 3!! When asked by Sarah what theme she would like for her party she of course answered - Green! She is obsessed with the color green so this was no surprise. It was a wonderful, green-filled extravaganza!

Camas Trip Part 1: Grandma Dianna and Grandpa Terry's House

We started out Parker's Spring break with a trip to Camas. First Stop - Grandma Dianna and Grandpa Terry's house. Both boys (finally!) fell asleep for part of the ride down and then got to partake in some pretty fun activities.

Conway has a new love for big kid chairs. It's actually kind of a love/hate relationship because it's a struggle for him to get into the chair and then as soon as he's seated he wants back out - and the whole thing starts all over again. This time, though, the chair happened to be right in front of the TV so once he was sitting he had a perfect view of The Masters. He and his father were both rooting for a big Tiger comeback. Oh well.

Parker got to drive Grandpa Terry's lawn mower! His focus was still on watching the wheels turn rather than on steering, but David was there to assist. He insists that it's called a tractor, not a lawn mower, but either way it doesn't get much better than this for Parker.

Parker also got to visit the neighboring cows, llamas, and horses with Grandpa Terry. They even got to see a baby cow just hours after it was born!

Toddler Meal Time

Conway is basically pure crazy these days when it comes to eating. He loves food, but he's generally either distracted by everything going on around him (dogs, Parker, sounds outside, etc...), angry that food isn't getting into his mouth fast enough, or annoyed that he's still sitting in his seat when clearly he's all done. It's helpful that he can now sign "more" and "all done", but he prefers the other universal 'all done' signal - throwing his food. This cutie pie is a little maniac.

Books Are Fun

One of Conway's newest loves is books. It's so fun to peak into his room and see him perusing through his book collection. It generally ends with him surrounded by a giant mess of books and the sounds of animal noises and happy squeals. So much fun!

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

In addition to attending church (including this picture in front of the Easter Flower Cross on the front lawn), our Easter was filled with friends, bunnies, eggs, and lots of other goodies. Not sure all of these things are making it any easier for Parker to grasp the real reason for Easter, but we'll keep at it.

After church we went to the Pannoni's house for their annual brunch and Easter egg hunt. Thanks Pannonis! Here are the kids watching the last of the eggs being delivered by...

The Easter Bunny!!

Parker and Donna decided to wear matching pants! :-)

What's almost as much fun for Parker as hunting for Easter eggs?
Eating a doughnut with his friend Clarke.

Happy Easter!

Some of the pictures at the Pannoni brunch were taken by our friend Doug Pearce. Thanks Doug!
