Adventure Hike

While Parker was at one of his various camps this summer (which will be covered in a future post) Conway, Monroe, and I went for what we like to refer to as an "adventure hike" in Discovery Park. So much fun until little legs got tired. But as you will see, a snack can almost always turn things around.

Monroe is Walking!

Monroe has been stringing a few steps together for quite a while now, but recently he has really become a walker. There are still plenty of tumbles and he definitely looks like a drunken sailor, but walking is now officially his primary mode of transportation...and he is genuinely pretty proud of himself.

Maison Rouge for the Fourth

It was another awesome week in Chelan for the 4th of July. The weather was beautiful and hot this year which meant lots of water-centered activities - lake, pool, water slides - all good times. The newest addition to our time at the lake this year? No, not another kid (Lord help us!). A boat! Apparently persistence pays off and the guys finally finagled a boat into the family. Other trip highlights: Conway became potty trained! Reid and Conway officially became great friends - they've called each other friends for a while now, but have really started putting it into practice - really cute! And here are photos of the week, if you're interested.
