Happy Thanksgiving!

It was so fun hosting Dianna and Terry at our house for Thanksgiving this year. The day was pretty laid back and low-key and the food was delicious and plentiful. We have so very much to be thankful for and family tops that list.

Shirts Off for Dinner?

Tourists In Our Own City

With a few days off from work and school before Thanksgiving, we became tourists in our own city. We took a ferry to Bainbridge Island and visited the Space Needle at Seattle Center. A fun little family staycation time.

Thumbs Up and M&Ms

Monroe gave himself a thumbs up and earned a bag of M&Ms for going #2 in the toilet. He loves to tell everyone (friends, teachers, random people at the playground) about reaching this milestone and he also told me that he's really proud of himself. We're all pretty proud of him too.

The Totten Family Zoo

The boys each had their own strong opinions about costumes this year and they weren't really into coordinating. They did all pick animals, though, so I bought David a monkey costume and decided that I would be the zoo keeper - not that much of a stretch from real life actually. So the Totten family zoo has a monkey, penguin, spider, and triceratops.

Happy Halloween!

Damo Marries Elly!

It was a cold day in Madison, Wisconsin, but we were too happy for this lovely couple to notice. Actually, we did in fact notice that it was really cold...and joyful and beautiful. The colors of the leaves put on a gorgeous fall show for the wedding of Damian and Elly. We couldn't be happier to officially welcome Elly into our family! The kids are a little confused because they were already calling her Aunt Elly, but Parker and Conway still had fun travelling to Wisconsin to see them make it official. Monroe stayed back with Grandma and Grandpa because, well, toddlers on planes and at weddings.

Congratulations Damo and Elly! We love you so much!!
